This listing is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / Logic board) only — a complete Seagate drive is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of replacement PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These PCBs are intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Many Seagate boards store unique calibration and configuration data in a ROM (memory) chip; that information is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred or reprogrammed onto the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician should be able to move the chip for you.
