This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended for HDD repair and data-recovery use, this PCB is compatible with Seagate ST31000340NS (part numbers 9CA158-883, SN06, 100468979 K) drives. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verifying compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most drive PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM data is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip itself, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant.
