This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery work. Most drive PCBs store unique information in the ROM memory chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board — a local computer technician can usually perform the chip transplant when feasible.
