This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the drive itself is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the board you receive may differ slightly from the photos. Intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery, this PCB should be used with proper diagnostics; please consult our hard drive diagnostics guide to confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue. Many Seagate PCBs store unique calibration and configuration data in the ROM memory chip; that data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip (or its data) must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
