This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Many drive boards store unique information in a ROM “memory” chip that is required for proper operation; that ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
