This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we have a large quantity of PCBs in stock, the board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Use: This PCB is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Before purchasing, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important ROM information: Most drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip itself, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement board for the drive to function. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can typically perform that task. Services and support: For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service — either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
