This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive is not included. Because we stock a large number of boards, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. To confirm a replacement board will resolve your issue, please consult our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for normal drive operation. That ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer. For customers with orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either transplanting the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
