This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only — the hard drive itself is NOT included. Due to our large inventory, the exact printed circuit board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery. Before purchasing, verify that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many Seagate PCBs store unique service data in a ROM (memory) chip; that data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical transfer of the chip is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For customers whose order totals $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service — we will either move the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogram the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
