This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. We stock a large number of PCBs, so the actual board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Note: most Seagate PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in the ROM "memory" chip; this information is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer professional should be able to perform the transfer.
