This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended for data recovery and hard drive repair of compatible Seagate drives, this board can be used as a replacement part. Before ordering, verify that a PCB swap will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs store unique configuration in a ROM "memory" chip; that information is required for correct drive operation and must be transferred to the replacement board. If the original ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
