This sale is for the replacement hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large quantity of these PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Compatible with Seagate ST3000DM001 (1ER166-501, CC25, 4094 H) SATA 3.5 drives. Purpose: Designed for HDD repair and data recovery applications. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB swap will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide. Also verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide to ensure a proper match. Important: Most Seagate PCBs store unique drive parameters in a ROM "memory" chip. That ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly; therefore the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually move the chip.
