This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we stock a large quantity of these PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for use in data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, verify that a PCB swap will resolve your issue by consulting our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide, and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most drive PCBs contain unique ROM data stored in a memory chip that is required for normal operation; the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service, which includes either relocating the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
