This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive is NOT included. We carry a large inventory of PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is sold for hard drive repair and data recovery use. Most Seagate PCBs contain device-specific information stored on a ROM memory chip; that data is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip itself or its contents must be transferred to the replacement circuit board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
