Because we stock large quantities, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the pictured unit. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Important technical note: most Seagate PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM memory chip; that information is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be moved to the replacement board or programmed onto it. If you cannot transfer the chip yourself, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
