This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This board is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will fix your drive by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many Seagate PCBs contain unique ROM data that is required for proper operation; the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For customers who spend $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the board with the correct ROM data.
