This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB/logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB can resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Many Seagate PCBs store essential drive-specific data in a ROM memory chip; that ROM contents are required for correct operation. The ROM chip itself or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer repair technician can usually perform this transfer. For customers with orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service — we will either transplant the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogram the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
