Before ordering, confirm a PCB swap will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide.\n\nImportant: most hard drive PCBs store unique data in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for correct drive operation. That ROM chip—or its contents—must be transferred to the replacement board.
