This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no Seagate hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of these PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or HDD repair. Before ordering, confirm that replacing the PCB is the correct fix by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility via the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs hold unique information in a ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred or programmed onto the replacement board. If moving the chip is an option, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant. For purchases of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
