This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of compatible PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These replacement PCBs are intended for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Most Seagate PCBs store unique parameters in the ROM "memory" chip; that ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board for the drive to function correctly. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
