This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended for data recovery and hard drive repair, this Seagate SATA 3.5 PCB is offered as a replacement part for compatible drives. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB swap will resolve your problem by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive circuit boards include a ROM "memory" chip that stores unique drive-specific parameters required for correct operation. That ROM chip, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement board; when possible a local computer technician can perform the transfer. For customers with purchases of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
