This sale is for the hard drive circuit board / logic board only — the hard drive itself is not included. We maintain a large inventory of PCBs, so the actual board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. These circuit boards are supplied for hard drive repair and data recovery purposes. Before purchasing, verify that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most Seagate PCBs store unique parameters in a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for correct drive operation and must be moved or copied to the replacement board. If you cannot move the chip yourself, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service, which covers either physically transferring the ROM chip to the new board or reprogramming the replacement PCB with the correct ROM data.
