This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of boards, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for use in data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most Seagate PCBs contain unique settings in a ROM “memory” chip that are required for the drive to operate correctly; the ROM or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If moving the ROM chip is possible, a qualified technician can usually perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
