This listing is for the hard drive PCB (logic board) only — the hard drive is not included. Because we stock a large number of replacement PCBs, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This part is intended for repair or data-recovery work. Most drive PCBs hold unique information in a ROM memory chip that is required for the drive to function properly; that ROM or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant.
