This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the unit you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or repair of compatible hard drives. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many Seagate PCBs contain unique ROM data required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its stored data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the proper ROM data.
