This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we stock a large number of boards, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These boards are intended for data recovery and drive repair work. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: many hard drive PCBs store unique data in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for correct drive operation. That ROM (or its contents) must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
