Sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB fits Seagate ST1000VM002 (1ET162-500, SC11, 4094 H) 3.5" SATA drives and is intended for hard drive repair or data recovery work. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify part compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most Seagate PCBs store unique parameters in a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM or its data must be transferred or reprogrammed onto the new board for the drive to operate correctly. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can normally perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either moving the ROM chip to the replacement PCB or programming the new board with the correct ROM data.
