This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended uses: hard drive repair and data recovery. Important: most Seagate PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for normal drive operation. That ROM chip, or its data, must be transferred or programmed onto the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
