This sale is for a hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we keep a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or hard drive repair. Prior to purchase, confirm a PCB swap will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify part compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many hard drive circuit boards include unique information stored in the ROM "memory" chip. That ROM data is required for correct drive operation and must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant. For purchases of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service, which covers either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
