This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive is not included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the unit you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair and data recovery. Before ordering, confirm that a board swap will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many Seagate PCBs contain unique parameters stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for correct drive operation and must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant.
