This listing is for the hard drive PCB (logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we stock a large quantity of boards, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These circuit boards are supplied for hard drive repair and data-recovery work. Before buying, confirm a replacement PCB is the correct fix by using our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Many Seagate 2.5" PCBs contain unique ROM "memory" data required for the drive to function; that ROM (or its contents) must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be desoldered and moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
