This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We stock a large quantity of these PCBs, so the board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. The PCB is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery use. Before purchasing, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many hard drive PCBs contain unique ROM memory that is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board for proper functionality. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service: either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
