This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no drive is included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery. To confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue, please use our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most Seagate PCBs store unique drive information on a ROM memory chip; that data is required for the drive to function properly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be relocated, a qualified local technician can typically perform the swap. For customers with orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either transferring the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
