sE Electronics VR2-U White Ribbon Mic | sku-520084350

The sE Electronics VR2-U is a White active ribbon microphone in the Ribbon Microphones category (sku-520084350; UPC 850426001743). Designed for vocals, wind instruments and acoustic strings, it has a 20Hz-20kHz frequency response. Custom transformers and a Rupert Neve-designed circuit bring out high frequencies often absent from ribbon microphones.

Its ribbon is hand-tensioned by specialized technicians, and it includes a mechanical device designed by sE CEO Siwei Zou. The source compares its full-range response with the earlier sE and Rupert Neve RNR1 collaboration.
