The Saramonic SR-AX107 is a 2 Channel XLR audio adapter designed to bring professional-level sound to DSLR cameras that have a built-in microphone jack. It accepts a wide range of audio sources — professional condenser microphones, wireless microphone systems, external audio mixers, sound boards and more — and feeds them into your camera for cleaner, more controlled recordings. Engineered for quality, the unit features Two Balanced XLR Inputs, Low Noise Preamps with Gain Settings and a Built-in isolation transformer. Inputs are Mic / Line / Phantom Switchable, and the adapter offers Switchable 12V and 48V Phantom Power to support various microphones. Output and monitoring are flexible: a Mono / Stereo Output Switch lets you choose your output configuration, while a Level Meter with LED PEAK Indicators provides real-time input monitoring. Output signal is adjustable via level controls for optimal recording levels. The phone/headphone jack supplies a Headphone Monitor Output so you can listen while recording or monitor playback from the camera (Monitor from PLAY/REC). To minimize unwanted noise during quiet passages, the SR-AX107 includes an AGC Disable Feature that prevents the camera’s Auto Gain Control from interfering with your audio.
