The headset molds to the user's head and uses water-resistant materials, a sealed circuit board, a marine-grade stainless steel gooseneck and a Samson AE50X cardioid capsule. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery runs for up to 8 hours. A tri-color LED shows low battery, charging, muted and normal status; variable gain and a silent mute switch are provided.

The speaker delivers 300 Watts peak, 150 Watts program and 75 Watts RMS through a long-throw 8'' woofer with a 1.5" KSV voice coil. Frequency response is 20Hz-20KHz; maximum SPL at 1w/1m is 95dB peak and 92dB continuous. Bluetooth audio input has a range of 32 feet and needs no cable.

A USB/SD MP3 player handles audio files, and the included wireless remote controls its functions, including volume. An LCD shows MP3 functions and Bluetooth connectivity. Channel 1 has XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs with volume control; channel 2 has RCA and 1/8" auxiliary inputs with volume control. An XLR line output connects to additional powered speakers, a mixer or a powered subwoofer.
