It has a 15 ft power cord and is sized for pools up to 40,000 gallons, producing up to 1.52 lbs of chlorine per day. Corrosion-resistant titanium plates sit inside an ABS casing. The cell converts salt into chlorine, removing the need for chlorine tablets.

It is described as reducing harsh odors, eye irritation, dryness, eye discomfort and hair damage while giving the water a softer feel and helping keep pH and hardness balanced. Installation takes minutes without major plumbing changes. Clean the cell approximately every three months; O-rings and a pipe tool are included for upkeep and replacement.
