Safavieh VRM103A-6 Off-White 6' x 9' Unisex Area Rugs

Safavieh VRM103A-6 is a Unisex Rugs listing for an Off-White, 6' x 9' area rug; the source describes its color as Ivory. Hand woven in India, it has a 0.5 in. pile, a 50% wool and 50% cotton composition, and no backing. A rug pad, sold separately, can help prevent shifting and sliding. For carpet-to-carpet use, a hold pad is recommended for protection. New wool rugs naturally shed.

For the first few weeks, vacuum 1-2 times a week with a low-pressure vacuum without beater bars, following the direction of the pile. Clip loose ends or loops with scissors rather than pulling them. Continue to vacuum regularly and spot clean; professional cleaning is recommended for stubborn stains.

Rotate the rug every 3-6 months to reduce uneven wear, use protectors beneath heavy furniture, and keep it out of direct sunlight to limit fading. Shipping may leave temporary creases that gradually settle; back-rolling or reverse rolling can help. Monitor differences may affect how the color appears, and dimensions and patterns may vary slightly.
