No backing — a rug pad (sold separately) is recommended to prevent slipping and shifting. Care: vacuum regularly (preferably one without beater bars) and spot clean as needed; for stubborn stains, professional rug cleaning is advised. To minimize uneven wear from foot traffic and furniture, rotate the rug every 3-6 months and place protectors under heavy furniture legs to avoid flattening the pile. Keep the rug out of direct sunlight whenever possible, as prolonged exposure will cause colors to fade. Note that accessories shown in lifestyle images are not included.
