The Ruckus 901-R550-US00 is a mid-range indoor access point using Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ax) to deliver increased capacity, wider coverage and cost-effective performance in dense deployments. Its dual-band, dual-concurrent design provides four spatial streams (2x2:2 in 2.4GHz/5GHz) with peak throughput up to 1774 Mbps and the ability to efficiently manage up to 512 client connections. RF optimization and coverage are enhanced by Ruckus’ patented BeamFlex+™ adaptive antenna system, which employs multiple directional antenna patterns to reduce interference and extend reach. For serving many devices at once, the AP leverages four MU-MIMO spatial streams across concurrent 2.4GHz and 5GHz radios to improve simultaneous device capacity and per-device performance. Built-in Bluetooth® Low Energy and Zigbee radios enable a converged Wi‑Fi and IoT infrastructure—eliminating separate silos and allowing the single network to accommodate current IoT needs while remaining ready for future wireless technologies.
