Package includes: 10 x Rockville DCS8T commercial 8" drop ceiling tile speakers suitable for offices, restaurants, retail and other business environments. Each unit is pre-mounted in a standard 2 feet x 2 feet ceiling tile for quick installation—just drop into the grid and hook up the speaker wire. Designed for background music, announcements, speeches and chimes, the DCS8T features a low-profile 3.9" mounting depth and a durable metal grill. The speaker supports 70V and 100V distributed audio systems as well as direct 8 ohm connection for flexibility in commercial installs. Spring-loaded speaker terminals simplify wiring. Power and taps: 70V power taps available at 10W, 5W, 2.5W and 1.5W. 100V taps: 10W, 5W and 2.5W. When used at 8 ohm, the speaker handles 30 Watts RMS. Sensitivity is 91 dB with a 105 degree dispersion pattern for broad coverage. Driver construction and acoustics: Extremely efficient paper cone, 1" voice coil on an aluminum former, and a 10 oz. ferrite magnet. High temperature copper voice coil windings ensure reliable performance. Frequency response (‑10 dB) is 170 Hz - 17 kHz.
