The 36" x 1/8" (10 Lb) rods come in a pack containing 10 pounds of rods. They are used for high-tensile-strength welds on low carbon and low alloy steel sheets, plates and pipes of grades A and B analysis, as well as structural fabrications.
They are recommended for critical welds that must undergo the same annealing and heat treatment as regular grades of cast steel. Silicon and manganese remove impurities from the molten metal, so no flux is required. Minimum weld deposit strength is 60 ksi. The rods conform to AWS A5.2 R 60.
