Overview: The Rexing M2 Max is a 2-channel mirror dash cam that mounts over your rearview mirror without blocking sightlines and continuously records both front and rear views. The front camera captures in 4K while the rear records in 1080p, and enhanced night-vision ensures clear footage around the clock. Display & Operation: A 12” IPS Touch Screen gives you full control over settings and lets you view the rear camera feed or stream media. When the display is powered down, the unit simply functions as a standard rearview mirror. Reverse/Backup Functionality: The unit doubles as an auto backup camera — when you shift into reverse it automatically shows the rear camera feed to assist with parking and reduce blind spots; reverse parking assistance is included. Connectivity & Location: Built-in Wi-Fi (Highspeed 5.0GHZ) enables fast transfer of video files to your phone via the Rexing Connect App. An internal GPS Logger records your vehicle’s speed and location for playback using the supplied GPS player. Driver Assistance: The Advanced Driver Assist System provides Rear Collision Warning (RCW) alerts for approaching objects from behind and Blind Spot Detection (BSD) to warn you of vehicles entering your blind spots, aiding safer lane changes. Parking Mode & Impact Detection: When parked and powered off the camera enters a hibernation state to conserve power. If motion or an impact is detected it will wake, record a 30s video, then return to hibernation. Files created by collisions are saved to a protected folder so they won’t be overwritten. Recording & Storage: Loop recording keeps the SD card ready by automatically overwriting the oldest files when storage fills up, ensuring continuous capture of new footage.
