The motor and cone assembly include a 100 mm (4 in) copper voice coil and a ventilated voice coil gap to minimize power compression. Frequency response spans 35 – 1000 Hz with a sensitivity of 97 dB for strong, efficient low-frequency output. Mechanical and magnetic design features a double silicone spider with optimized compliance, an aluminium demodulating ring to reduce distortion, and dual demodulation rings in the magnet system. The result is very low distortion and clean, deep bass reproduction.
