Refurbished OEM Audiophile head unit for 2008–2009 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable. This Chrome Trim Audiophile radio is an AM/FM mp3-capable 6-disc CD player that has been upgraded to stream music via Bluetooth from phones, tablets, and other Bluetooth audio devices. Part Number: 8G1T-18C815-DA. Compatible with: 8G1T-18C815-BB and 8G1T-18C815-BC. Important compatibility note: this is the Audiophile series radio and will only function in vehicles equipped with the Audiophile audio system. It will not work in non-Audiophile setups. Before ordering, please verify the mounting brackets and plug configuration for your vehicle — some 2008–2009 cars used alternate radio styles. Operation and features: - OEM refurbished unit upgraded with Bluetooth music capability; plug-and-play installation, no radio codes required. - To stream: pair your device, press the radio’s Aux button (this enables Bluetooth), then play audio. Most in-app audio players (Rhapsody, Pandora, Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, Netflix, etc.) will play with full radio sound control. - Some devices require a passkey to complete pairing: use "0000" if prompted. - To stop Bluetooth audio, simply unpair or disable Bluetooth on your device. Limitations: this Bluetooth upgrade supports music streaming only. It does not handle phone calls (calls require a Bluetooth microphone/system).
