Unbranded Restored Tools: Filters | sku-18582653936

This Unbranded Restored Tools listing, sku-18582653936, UPC 750842994066, describes RED FACTOR activated-carbon replacement filters for indoor compost buckets. The pack contains 8 filters: 4 round filters measuring 6.50 inches across and 4 square filters measuring about 4.5 inches per side. Each is 0.4 inch (10 mm) thick.

The porous filters allow ventilation while reducing odors from food scraps, including fruit, vegetables, coffee grounds, eggshells and tea bags, even on hot days. Each filter is stated to last at least 3-4 months, giving the pack more than a year's worth of odor control. The filters fit most indoor compost buckets and can be trimmed with scissors.

To replace one, pinch the old filter out of the lid, clean the lid and insert a new one so it sits straight and covers the vent. Do not rinse or wash the charcoal filters. RED FACTOR describes itself as a small independent company and offers a refund or replacement if you contact it because you are dissatisfied.
