Radial R800 7320 00 Multicolor PZ-Deluxe sku-47639656

The Multicolor Radial PZ-Deluxe, model R800 7320 00, is listed under Guitar & Bass Amplifiers as sku-47639656 (UPC 676101040384). This compact instrument preamp and direct box works with pickups and transducers on acoustic guitar, upright bass, mandolin, violin and other acoustic instruments.

Its low-noise input can use the PZB gain stage to raise input impedance to 10 meg-Ohms for direct piezo connection without a separate preamp or a cutout in the instrument. Controls include input gain, 3-band semi-parametric EQ with adjustable mid-frequency, a low-frequency resonance filter and a 180-degree polarity switch to address feedback.

A guitar-level output connects to a stage amp; the balanced direct-box output connects to a PA and can drive cables over 100 meters (300 feet). It also has a separate tuner output, a mute switch and an adjustable boost for solos. The 15V supply provides more headroom than typical 9V devices.
