No rating yet(0 ratings)The Quick Dams Grab and Go Bucket Kit, model QDGGCO (sku-142262095; UPC 810959020925), is listed as Black Camping Gear in size 5'. Its orange bucket holds 5 flood barriers measuring 5ft each and 10 water-activated flood bags. The sandless bags expand to 12in x 24in x 3.5in, absorb 4 gallons each and reach full height in 10 minutes.
The absorbent powder swells and gels water, allowing the bags and barriers to contain or divert leaks and flooding without sand filling. Bags can be stacked in a brick pattern for a taller wall. Barriers are available in 5ft, 10ft and 17ft lengths, with stated absorption capacities of 4, 8 and 13.5 gallons respectively. The products are described as environmentally safe.
Do not use them around salt water, calcium or chlorine, which can cause absorbed water to be released.
