Limited Run Games Quake II, sku-12512864242, UPC 810105678789, is listed under Video Games by genre for Xbox One and Xbox Series X as Limited Run Games #10. In the military sci-fi campaign, humanity attacks the Strogg homeworld after the aliens attack Earth. The strike fails, but you survive and fight through military installations to shut down the Strogg war machine.

Both original mission packs are included. The Reckoning has 18 campaign levels and 7 deathmatch maps; as part of a commando force, you infiltrate a Strogg site, move through industrial areas, waterways, air ducts and mutant-filled canyons, board an alien spacecraft and destroy a secret moon base. Ground Zero has 15 campaign levels and 14 deathmatch maps.

On Stroggos, you can still contact the fleet, but the operational Gravity Well has trapped it; with only 5% of ground forces surviving, your orders are to free your comrades and destroy the weapon. MachineGames' Call of the Machine expansion adds 28 campaign levels and one multiplayer deathmatch map. You travel across time and space to find and destroy the Strogg-Maker.

The Machine is a singularity capable of collapsing reality. Quake II 64 is also included, with all 19 campaign levels, 10 multiplayer deathmatch maps and an additional original soundtrack. The campaign and expansions support 4-player online or local split-screen co-op.

Competitive play supports 16-player online or 4-player local split-screen, with bots for offline and online deathmatch and team deathmatch. Crossplay lets friends on different platforms play the campaign and expansions cooperatively or compete in multiplayer. Optional motion aiming uses gyro controls and can be combined with the control stick.
