QM Drain 88.300.12 GD Gold 12" Drain sku-5063011257

QM Drain 88.300.12 GD is a Gold, 12" Lagos Series Veil linear drain in the Bathroom Plumbing category. Its ABS plastic base is described as tough, rigid and chemical resistant. The tile-insert grate has a lifting key for removal. To install it, thread the adaptor into the drain flange and adjust the height; it fits most common 2" ABS, PVC or cast iron shower drain flanges.

Flanges are sold separately as 83.100.00 PVC or 83.100.00 ABS. Use a standard waterproofing method. The frame edges are 100% marine-grade 316 stainless steel. They are lightweight and corrosion resistant, and protect the grout when the grate is removed. A removable hair strainer basket comes with every QM Drain; using it is optional.

It collects hair and debris to help prevent pipe clogs and keep insects and small rodents from coming up through the sewer. Empty it as needed. QM Drain states that its products were tested in a CSA laboratory and meet United States and Canadian code approval under ASME A 112.18.2-2011 / CSA B 125.2-11; these standards are recognized in the Uniform Plumbing Code for Plumbing Waste Fittings.
