My Race is My Gender is a hardcover title in All Books by Stephanie Hsu; Ka-Man Tse; S L Clark (sku-5073345415). The anthology brings together six nonbinary writers of color from Black, Indigenous, Latine, and Asian perspectives. Through personal stories, photography, and visual portraits, they describe everyday experiences of racial, sexual, and gender identity.

The book discusses marginalization within ethnic groups and queer communities, how those communities can become more inclusive, and how recognizing nonbinary genders can be an anti-racist practice. In accessible language informed by queer theory and critical race theory, its contributors offer an intergenerational view of belonging to marginalized queer communities in the U.S. while feeling solidarity with a global majority.

They also consider how genderqueer and nonbinary activism relates to racial justice movements such as Black Lives Matter. It is described as the first anthology by nonbinary writers of color to include photography and visual portraits.
